The products discussed below will meet the requirement of most aluminum processing; however, specially formulated products are available.
ROLUBE 6001: A soluble oil concentrate used for light to medium duty forming and blanking operations on copper, brass and aluminum. It is also used for machining ferrous and non ferrous metals. Typical dilutions for stamping and blanking are 10% to 30% in water. For machining dilutions range from 2.5% to 10%.
GEN-LUBE 3010:Heavy-duty vanishing copper brass lubricant for fin forming machines, stamping and drawing headers tanks for aluminum radiators. Can be used for stamping, header and tank forming up to 14 gauge thickness. Also it is odor free.
Solvent: Water Dilution : 5%-10% by volume to Sulphuric Acid Tank
Available in 5,15,55 gallon containers.

I am looking into brass cleaning solutions for small
brass (ASTM B36/B36M) components which are used in
assembly operations in our plant. These components are
inspected by cameras, and being able to clean them
(remove tarnish) to a consistent (color) finish without
etching the surfaces is very important to us. Although
these components come to us clean, they may have a very
small amount of cutting oil remaining from our supplier.
Some of our concerns include:
The effect of your products on zinc as we have other
components that contain higher zinc content in our wash
Disposal of spent cleaning solution.

We currently have a rotary tumbler, small ultrasonic
cleaner and soaking equipment available. We do not
currently use any of your products
